Our standard booking time is two hours for groups of fewer than eight guests and three hours for groups of eight or more. If you need a little longer, please contact our team before your visit and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Yes! You are welcome to bring a birthday or celebration cake. We can provide plates, spoons and a knife, but we do not cut cakes or provide candles. If you would like us to store your cake in the fridge, please clearly label it with your full name.

Weighted balloon bunches and flowers are welcome. Confetti is not permitted, helping us keep our City Beach home clean and beautiful. All decorations must be removed from the venue at the end of your booking

In the case of poor weather conditions, we will do our best to relocate outdoor deck bookings inside the venue. Please note that this is not always possible if our indoor restaurant is fully booked, so we recommend considering this when booking an outdoor table. We do not charge the booking pre-authorisation for weather-related last-minute cancellations.

Our high tables are paired with bar stools with backs, while our low tables have standard dining chairs with backs. Choose the option that feels most comfortable for your group.

We are open seven days a week. Breakfast is served daily from 6am to 10:30am, and our restaurant is open from 11am until late for lunch and dinner. Opening hours may change on public holidays. Bert’s is closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Yes! Walk-ins are always welcome, but we cannot guarantee a table will be available, particularly during peak service times and on weekends. We recommend making a booking to secure your spot.

Yes, Bert’s is wheelchair accessible. Please add the wheelchair accessibility tag to your booking so our team can allocate an appropriate table and make your visit as easy as possible.

Public parking is available around the City Beach precinct and near the venue. Spaces can fill quickly during peak periods, especially on weekends, so we recommend allowing a little extra time before your booking. Please check local signage for any time limits or restrictions.

Yes! Dogs are welcome on our outdoor deck, so your four-legged friends can join you by the sea.
